So as has been the case for the last few weeks, I’m very short on time. But I did want to write a quick post since today is my sweet husband’s 30th birthday! Quite a milestone, and one that I thankfully won’t reach for another five months. Ha!
Dear N:
I know I tend to be a bit lame when it comes to giving birthday gifts. And as you know, I don’t believe in birthday cards that cost more than $0.50 at Dollar General. Which usually translates to no birthday cards at all for those people I love most. And sometimes no gift, either. I am backwards, what can I say. But you are used to this by now.
However, I just wanted to post a quick note saying how much I love you, and how happy I am that we are going on a decade of togetherness. I mean, to think that we were a couple of 20-year-olds when we first started dating! Kind of a lot has happened since then, but I love you even more today then all of the previous days.Â
I hope you enjoy your iPod, and would it have killed you to not have been quite so surprised that I actually got one for you? I don’t think I have that bad of a gift-giving history.  Too much.Â
Love, Your Wife
