So!  The Hair.  I shall keep you posted on what I decide to do, and will try to do some before and after photos.  This will happen soon, because I have an appointment with a lady named Celeste after work Tuesday.

The proofs of Miss T’s “school” pictures finally came in yesterday, and when the teacher gave them to me I was holding Miss T.  When she saw herself in the clear window of the envelope, she had to give that baby a kiss!  It was so cute.  And a little offensive because she won’t give ME a kiss upon request, but she’s more than happy to lavish them all over that 2D baby in the plastic square.

I am further offended by Miss T’s newest nighttime stunt.  I have prattled on about her crappy sleep patterns in great detail, but now we have apparently entered a new phase.  The phase of Stubborn Nighttime Screaming.  While I bitched about it a great deal, it really wasn’t a huge deal to get up and feed her in the middle of the night.  Sure, I would rather have been sleeping, but at least she would knock back a few ounces of formula and go right back to sleep without too much protest.  Now she starts yelling her little head off the second she realizes I am planning to LEAVE HER ALONE IN THE CRIB, HOW DARE YOU DO THAT MOTHER.  I’m not too sure what to do about this latest phase other than wait it out.  I mean, we give her a bottle as she still seems to need it during the night (sometimes taking up to 6 ounces), but beyond that there is clearly nothing wrong.  I have been a parent long enough to know the difference between a hurting/scared/hungry/sick child and a pissed-off one.  Ah, well.  This too shall pass.

I am so very glad it is Friday, I can’t even begin to tell you.  Not that we have any major plans this weekend, or even any interesting ones, but I look forward to relaxing a bit.  And possibly putting up our Christmas decorations.
