For the last few days I’ve had a really hard time coming up with something to write about.  The sad fact of the matter is that my life is really not all that interesting!  I can’t even write any movie reviews, since I’ve been Netflixing TV shows instead.  Maybe something fascinating will happen soon and then I can yammer about that.  But in the meantime, here’s a bullet point list of updates.  I love bullet points!

  • Took Miss T back to the doctor yesterday to make sure her ear infections were all cleared up.  And although she still has some fluid in both ears, Dr. H says he’s “happy” with how they look right now so we’ll just have to wait and see if infections redevelop.  So that’s good, I guess.  Oh, and since the last several times she went to the doctor she got a shot, now she FREAKS OUT as soon as she sees a nurse.  That is not as good.  She wouldn’t even stand on the scale long enough to be weighed but since the nurse was insistent, I had to stand on it holding her, and then by myself.
  • As you may have seen over at N’s blog, he has scored some major points in the Awesome Husband department by planning us a spring break getaway.  We’ll leave on my birthday, and although I don’t know where we’re going I trust that it will be a lot of fun.  And it involves an airplane, which is one of the best parts of traveling as far as I’m concerned.  I’m kind of a snob that way – I’ll go almost anywhere as long as I don’t have to drive there.
  • I believe I have decided to get my ear cartilage re-pierced.  I had an earring on the left all through college that I  took out for a job interview and by the time I remembered to put it back in, I couldn’t.  I think I’ll go to a tattoo/piercing place to get it done this time, though, because last time I just had them use the gun at the place in the mall and OW OW OW.  If I remember correctly, the aftermath of THAT hurt worse than either of my bellybutton piercings or my tattoo.  And surprisingly, Ridiculously Conservative Husband Man doesn’t seem to have a problem with this, like he did with all of those things.  I have finally broken him, MUAHAHAHA!
  • As I write this, Miss T is chewing a foam bath toy all to hell.  Hopefully AE won’t come in here before I can get rid of it because it used to be his.

And now I shall ask for help.  As you probably noticed, I wasn’t lying when I said that I don’t have much to write about.  I mean, my impending vacation is exciting but since I don’t know where we’re going I can’t write much about that.  So how about some questions?  Leave a comment asking something you would like to know (about me, the kids, the meaning of life, whatever) and I’ll do my best to answer.  Come on, it will be fun!!  Do it.  You know you want to.
