I always like to answer those e-mails that ask you a ton of questions about yourself.  Of course, not everyone likes to receive them so I thought I would post it here instead, mostly for my own amusement… 

1. What is your occupation?  I’m in university research administration.  It’s hard to explain my exact job – my own mother doesn’t understand what I do.
2. What color are your socks right now?  Right now I’m barefoot.
3. What are you listening to right now?  My husband and son playing Connect Four.
4. What was the last thing that you ate?  A quesadilla and guacamole.
5.  Can you drive a stick shift?   Yes, but it’s not pretty.                                         
6. If you were a crayon, what color would you be?  Hmm.  Green, I think.             
7. Last person you spoke to on the phone?  My mother.
8. How old are you today?  27
9. Favorite drink:  Alcoholic – margarita.  Non alcoholic – I drink mostly water.            
10. What is your favorite sport to watch?  I really don’t like to watch sports on TV at all.  But I do enjoy going to baseball and basketball games.                                       
11. Have you ever dyed your hair? Yep.  It was an unfortunate shade of burgundy.  I looked like a long-lost Spice Girl.                                                                             
12. Favorite curse word?  Probably s**t.  But I’m going to try and keep this clean.  🙂
13. Pets?  Indeed.  One small, black, extremely needy cat.                                        
14. Favorite food?  Mexican.
15. What was the last movie you saw? Red Eye.                                                  
16. What was your favorite toy as a child? My Little Ponies.  Loved them.
17. Hugs or kisses?   Hugs.
18. Cherry or Blueberry?  Blueberry.
19. Living arrangements? A house with my husband, son and cat.  Oh, and a betta. 
20. When was the last time you cried? I was listening to a CD my sister burned for me, and she had included the song What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong.  That song always makes me tear up.
21. What is on the floor of your closet?  Shoes, dance clothes, and a storage box that has all of my T-shirts in it.
22. What did you do last night?  Made blue raspberry vodka martinis and played Clue with my sister and husband.  Hee.
23. Favorite smells?  Citrusy smells, especially lemon.                                             
24. What inspires you?  Eh.  Is it bad that I hate questions like this?                       
25. What are you afraid of?  Not having enough money and resources to provide my son with the life he deserves.  Also, roaches.
26. Plain, cheese or spicy hamburgers?   I don’t eat red meat, but I do like spicy black bean burgers.                                                                                                       
27. Country you would most like to visit?  This is a hard one because there are a lot, but right now Italy is topping the list.
28. Favorite dog breed?  Greyhound.
29. Number of keys on your key ring?  Four.
30. How many years at your current job?  Almost three.                                      
31. Favorite day of the week?  Friday.                                                                 
32. How many states have you lived in?  Two – Texas and Colorado.
33. Favorite holidays?   Christmas and New Year’s.
34. Ever driven a motorcycle or heavy machinery?  Does a bus count?
